I am proud of the legacy of Sac PD’s tradition of service that continues today as we strive to represent excellence in policing. We do this by anticipating trends, being proactive in all areas, and addressing potential crises before they arise.
Our dedication to crime prevention is further strengthened through open and effective communication with the community we are honored to serve.
One of the most important vehicles the Sac PD has for communicating with and engaging the community is the Sacramento Police Foundation (SPF). For 25 years, SPF has funded critical programs that have enhanced the safety of our officers and the public we serve, have increased high school graduation rates and reduced juvenile crime, and have fostered stronger relationships between Sac PD and the communities we protect.
SPF can only advance our efforts through donations from community members, business leaders, companies large and small, and foundations. We are grateful to have a community partner like SPF to help us serve our community even more effectively.
